Can a Man Divorce His Wife and Then Marry Another?

Marriage is a covenant established by God, designed to be a lifelong union between husband and wife. The question of divorce and remarriage is not new—it was addressed by the prophets and by Jesus Himself. Let us consider what Scripture teaches. Jeremiah 3:1 “If a man divorces his wife and she goes from him and becomes another man’s, may he return to her again? Would not that land be greatly polluted?” Jeremiah uses divorce as a metaphor for Israel’s unfaithfulness. The principle shows that breaking covenant bonds leads to defilement and spiritual pollution. It sets the tone that divorce is not a casual matter but one with deep consequences. Matthew 19:9 “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.” Jesus provides one clear exception: sexual immorality. If a man divorces his wife without this cause and remarries, he commits adultery. This teaching emphasizes the sanctity of marriage as a covenant not to be broken lightly. Mark 10:11 “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.” Mark presents the teaching without exceptions. Divorce followed by remarriage is considered adultery against the first wife. It underscores the seriousness of breaking the marital bond. Luke 16:18 “Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.” Luke expands the warning to both sides: the man who divorces and remarries, and the one who marries a divorced woman. Adultery is not only personal but relational, affecting all involved. The sanctity of marriage is upheld as a covenant before God. Conclusion From these scriptures, the teaching is consistent: a man is not permitted to divorce his wife and marry another unless the wife has been found guilty of adultery. Outside of this exception, remarriage after divorce is considered adultery. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and its sanctity must be honored. Jesus’ words remind us that marriage is not merely a human contract but a divine institution, meant to reflect God’s faithfulness to His people. ✍️ Written by Priest Hurban Abrison Bride of the Lamb Ministries International

✝️ The Question of Circumcision: A Christian Perspective

Circumcision has long been a subject of debate, not only in cultural and medical contexts but also within Christian circles. Many believers ask: Is circumcision mandatory for Christians? Rather than offering a personal opinion, let us turn to Scripture, which provides clarity and guidance.  What the Bible Says Romans 2:29 “The true circumcision is the spiritual one, not the physical cutting of flesh.”Paul emphasizes that genuine circumcision is of the heart, a spiritual transformation that brings praise from God, not from men. 1 Corinthians 7:18Here, Paul teaches that circumcision holds no spiritual value in the life of a Christian. Whether circumcised or not, one’s standing before God is not determined by physical rituals but by faith in Christ. Galatians 6:12Paul warns that circumcision can be misused as a way to seek human approval. It becomes a matter of pride and outward recognition rather than true devotion to God. Galatians 6:15He concludes by stating that what truly matters is being a new creation in Christ. Physical circumcision is irrelevant compared to the transformative work of God in a believer’s life.  The Conclusion So, is circumcision mandatory for Christians? The answer from Scripture is clear: No. Christian faith is not built on outward rituals but on inward renewal through Christ. What God values is not the cutting of flesh but the circumcision of the heart—a life transformed by His Spirit.  Final Reflection Circumcision may carry cultural or medical significance in different societies, but for Christians, it is not a requirement for salvation or spiritual standing. The gospel calls us to focus on the new creation we become in Christ, living by faith and walking in obedience to His Word. ✍️ Written by Priest Hurban AbrisonBride of the Lamb Ministries International

“FACING A BULL BY THE HORN”

-By The Sentinel Priest Midan Haka

“We live in a world of whispers, half truth and carefully polished shadows. We spend so much energy dancing around the things that matter most, afraid the truth might be too heavy to carry. This dance stops at “ Facing a Bull by the Horns.
Here, we ask the questions you’ve thought about in private and we seek the answers that only comes when there is nowhere left to hide.”
We borrow from the philosophy of Darlan Rukih to answer these questions bravely:

A Testimony of Calling, Faithfulness, and Apostolic Service

By Missionary Falac Dama- Bride of The Lamb Ministries International My walk with God began in 1974. I am the seventh-born child of Dominic Ochiel and Francisca Aloo of Ugenya East, Sigomre, Madungu Sub‑location. From my early years, the hand of God has guided my steps, shaping my convictions and preparing me for the work of the ministry. Over the years, I served in various ministries as the Lord enabled me. Yet, in the depths of my heart, I always sensed a higher calling—an apostolic mandate to take the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to places where it had not yet been heard, to unpenetrated regions, and to participate in establishing the Church of Christ with love, understanding, and unwavering commitment. This vision has been alive in me since the age of twelve. Joining Bride of The Lamb Ministries International By the grace of God, I later joined Bride of The Lamb Ministries International under God’s chosen Messenger, The Apostle in the Place of Moses, Darlan Rukih. This remains one of the most significant and transformative decisions of my life. Under this ministry, the Lord reconnected me with my apostolic calling. My passion for evangelism, missions, and church planting found its rightful place and divine alignment. I am grateful to God for restoring, strengthening, and reawakening the purpose He placed in me from childhood. My Mission and Vision My lifelong mission has been clear: To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in unreached and unpenetrated areas To plant and establish churches grounded in truth, love, and spiritual understanding To serve faithfully in the Body of Christ as a vessel of honour I believe that by the time I leave this world, I will have left behind a legacy worthy of imitation—one that strengthens local assemblies of the Bride of The Lamb and prepares believers for the soon return of our Groom, King Jesus. I continually pray for strength, favour, wisdom, and long life, that I may finish my course faithfully. A Life Consecrated to Christ After experiencing two failed marriages, I made a firm and prayerful decision to devote myself wholly to the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. Following the example of the Virgin Mary, I embraced a life of spiritual consecration—fully committed to serving Christ and His Bride with purity, devotion, and undivided focus. To God Be the Glory I give thanks to our gracious, marvellous, and victorious God for His mercy and guidance throughout my journey. Everything I am, and everything I will ever accomplish, is by His grace alone. — Falac DamaMissionary, Bride of The Lamb Ministries International
