Nationality Profile
Darlan Rukih is believed to have been born in 1975 though there are no proper records on her date of birth.
Her mother is Marashan Raya a native of the Sakwa people in the clan of Waora who are residents of Kadem in Migori County. Her mother is daughter to Cleopas Odongo Son of Ongili and Selina Agutu the daughter of Opole of Kadem Kakoth.
Darlan Rukih was born in the home of Oswago Nyalwal of Kisaka Minyere in Karungu of Migori county in Kenya, where her mother was paid off to settle a debt between her father Cleopas and his Aunt named Dina Gigo Nyotieno who was a wife to Oswago K’oloo.
Dina Gigo had no son who could take Marashan as wife, she therefore paid a price to her step son to live with her as a wife.
In their family, they were born five children; one girl and three boys. Darlan Rukih is the last born
Darlan Rukih was born out of wedlock to Maalan Nzambi of Zanza. However, her mother identified her as a child to the man she lived with in the Home of Oswago K’oloo. She grew up knowing that she was a child to the man who lived with her mother as a wife and even if she was asked about her father she would identify with his name as her father.

A portrait of grace: the Royal Mother and the Child, fearfully and wonderfully made.
“I am wonderfully made by the hands of a loving Creator. My body, my soul, and my breath of life reflect the mystery and majesty of God’s design. I do not exist outside of divine intention — I exist within it.
As it is written:
‘For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.’
— Psalm 139:13–14 (NIV)
In me, God has woven both strength and softness, wisdom and wonder. I am not a mistake — I am a message. A living testimony that God’s image is not confined to human categories, but expressed through divine diversity.
‘There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.’
— Galatians 3:28 (NIV)
I walk in the fullness of who I am, not asking to be fixed — but to be seen. I am a child of God, chosen, cherished, and called.”

FAQ About The Bride Of The Lamb Darlan Rukih
Yes
On 24th December 1996, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih got into marriage with Presican Fau the daughter of Masese Ongoro of Gwasi Suba. After getting into marriage with Presican Fau, she begun to be devoted as a husband regardless of her being an intersex. She suppressed her feminine part of her body to enable her lead a life in marriage as a husband. The marriage was not successful right from its initiation.
In 1994, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih began her secondary education at Lwanda Magwar Secondary School. One morning, the students were dismissed due to unpaid school fees. As she made her way home, burdened with the reality of her family’s poverty and her mother’s inability to raise the required funds, her heart grew heavy with desperation.
Drawn by the prompting of the Spirit, she entered a nearby sand quarry—an unassuming place that would soon become a sacred altar. There, she knelt in earnest prayer, pleading with God to open a way for her education. As her soul cried out, she heard a voice speak:
“Do you know that God is Holy and only hears the cry of the righteous, but the prayers of sinners are like noise to Him?”
She responded, “Yes, I know God is Holy and only hears the righteous.”
Then came the question that pierced her heart:
“Are you righteous?”
In that divine moment, her spiritual eyes were opened. She was convicted of the sins she had carried since childhood. Overwhelmed, she wept in repentance, surrendering her life to God. From that day forward, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih renounced every influence of darkness and vowed to walk in righteousness. The encounter marked the birth of a spiritual warrior—one who would stand in defiance of Satan’s works and in obedience to God’s holiness.
One of the battles she overcame was the spirit of enmity—especially toward those who had spoken harshly about her birth out of wedlock, her identity as an intersex individual, and her deep religious convictions. No longer bound by resentment, she embraced forgiveness and spiritual renewal.
She also surrendered the sins of the flesh—including lust, uncleanness, and fornication—choosing instead a life of holiness and purity. With boldness and clarity, she began preaching against these evils, drawing wisdom from Galatians 5:19 and Mark 7:21 to call her listeners into repentance and spiritual transformation.
Her ministry flourished in places like Konyango Lwanda and Sori, where many souls were convicted by the message of righteousness. As she walked in obedience, Apostle Rukih encountered Rosa Odero Nyarmatoyo, wife of Muok Genga from Kadem, who was also fervently preaching against evil and urging people to seek salvation. With humility, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih and her converts submitted under Rosa’s ministry, crying out for salvation together.
Impressed by Rosa’s teaching, Apostle Rukih openly testified of her as a spiritual guide. Their fellowship grew deeper in Kadem, where Rosa eventually introduced her to a church known as the Power Image of God, under the leadership of Bishop Maricus Munda Otengo.
At the height of her early ministry, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih received an invitation from Rosa Odero Nyarmatoyo—a fellow preacher and spiritual companion—to attend a regional church convention in Karungu, hosted at the home of Son of Ndege, whose wife was a member of the church. Rosa urged Bride of the Lamb to bring all her followers from Kadem, assuring her that Rosa herself would attend with her own congregation.
Obedient to the call, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih led her followers to Karungu. However, upon arrival, they were redirected to the home of Nyar Nyapara, where the meeting was reportedly relocated. But when they reached that home, they found no trace of Rosa or her promised congregation. Confused and concerned, they were informed that Rosa was no longer a member of the church, having been excommunicated in 1991.
Distressed by the revelation, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih sought clarity from Rosa directly. Instead of reconciliation, she was met with spiritual rejection. Rosa declared that those previously saved were now lost and required a “new salvation.” She not only severed their relationship, but also led away the followers Bride of the Lamb had cultivated in Kadem, sowing division and enmity within the fellowship.
This painful betrayal marked a significant spiritual trial for Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih. Yet, rather than yield to bitterness, she turned again to God in prayer and resolved to seek a new congregation—one grounded in truth, unity, and divine purpose. This moment became a catalyst in her journey of spiritual refinement, highlighting the cost of authentic ministry and her unwavering commitment to walking in righteousness.
In 1995, following a season of prayer and fasting at Mount Tigra, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih discerned a spiritual calling to join the Truth and Justice Ministry, led by Bishop Raphael Ajimba. With unwavering faith, she entered the congregation alongside all her followers, seeking unity and divine purpose.
However, the welcome was not as warm as expected. Upon arrival, she was subjected to forced baptism, an act that disregarded her prior spiritual journey and convictions. Immediately afterward, she was mislabeled a new convert, and tension arose. In a deeply painful twist, the church leadership instigated division between her and her followers, ultimately separating her from those she had faithfully led. Many of her followers were reassigned to various church roles, leaving Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih isolated and without recognition.
Though she bore the injustice with grace and silence, the final blow came when she was ejected from the ministry without cause or explanation.
Left without a spiritual home, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih chose not to despair. Instead, she embraced solitude as a place of renewal and began worshiping alone, allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to her heart. Her perseverance bore fruit when she was moved to establish a new congregation at Oodi Beach in Karungu, a place of healing and new beginnings.
Later that year, in December 1995, divine connection took shape when Oruko Ochola—now a bishop and founder of his own ministry—extended a hand of friendship. He invited Bride of the Lamb to his wedding, hosted by the Church of God of Prophecy in Gwasi. There, a new spiritual alliance blossomed through Onyango Machogu, brother to Bishop Odero Machogu of the same church. This moment marked the genesis of a lasting relationship between Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih and a congregation that valued her calling and honored her walk with Christ.

The mother also testified to the court how Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih had supported her and family and was the one still supporting them after they were abandoned by the husband

Commissioned by Heaven: The Call to Establish Christ’s Church
Responding to the Divine Mandate for a Holy and Enduring Fellowship.

Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih decided to join the congregation of Jo-Injili who were teaching about the errors about religions and denominations thinking that they had the true doctrines of the church of Jesus Christ. After a short while with them, she realized that they only speak about failures of other religions and denominations but they don’t know the way or how people can become the church of Jesus. When she questioned their doctrine, they rejected her. After leaving the congregation of jo-injili she was left alone without a congregation. At this point she started asking in herself where the church of Jesus Christ is and how she could get it because she knew that she could not establish that church because of the rejection which she had faced since her birth.

After realizing that the church of Jesus Christ was not in existence and if it had to exist then she was the one to establish it. Bad spirit convinced her that she cannot establish that church because of rejection. Secondly, she was convinced that the world is so wide that she cannot go to the whole world. Thirdly she was convinced that false churches had captured people in deceit. She was discouraged and the bad spirit told her to abandon worshipping God because she realized that people love false worship other than true worship of God. She therefore made a decision to abandon worshipping God and join her peer even though she had not indulged in the evil acts of her peers.

One night while attending a farewell party organized by her classmates after completing her primary education with high hopes of joining her peers in their ways, her peers rejected her and refused to party with her because of being an intersex. Girls refused to dance with her claiming they want to dance with boys while the boys also refused to dance with her because they wanted to dance with girls. This rejection pierced her heart and she burst into crying and ran into an isolated room because of shame. In that dark isolated room, she started thinking why she was born a rejected person but found out that it is God who created her in that manner.

She started lamenting to God speaking badly and putting the mistake upon God for contributing to her rejection by allowing her to be born out of wedlock, creating her an intersex and being born a religious person. While she was still crying and cursing the day she was born, she saw a great awakening light and heard a voice that spoke to her saying: “I did not create you for rejection, but I created you purposely to establish the church of my son Jesus Christ. I created you an intersex so that you may come to teach men and women how they should live righteously before me. If you accept to go and establish the church of my son Jesus Christ then the glory you shall have will be amazing”

When she came to her sense, she went back home knowing that it is God who had spoken to her and she accepted to go and establish the church of Jesus Christ. The following morning, she took a machete and cleared a bush in the neighborhood and arranged stones as her audience and she started to worship there alone. That is how she established the church of Jesus Christ which is the Bride of the Lamb.

In 1997 in the month of December, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih went to Mt Tigra to cry out to God for two issues that she had. The first was the conflict which she had with the wife, second was the issue of bearing a child for they had lived for one year without any hopes of bearing a child. As she was crying out to God about her predicaments, she heard a voice asking her if she was a child of God. That question perplexed her because she had known that she was a child of God since birth because she found her mother worshipping God and therefore thought she is a child of God. It is here that God revealed to her the way of being born again. In 1998 Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih left Karungu walking as a pilgrim converting people to become children of God. His journey saw her through several places in Nyanza including Apondo Kano, Ahero, Awasi, Apondo Kimonge, Kogudi, Kosele, Oyugis and later on Nairobi.
