After facing familial rejection, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih embarked on a heartfelt quest to find truth and spiritual refuge among God’s people. Her pursuit led her through various denominations — initially the Seventh-day Adventist Church, then the Roman Catholic Church — but each left her with unresolved doctrinal questions.
Her prophetic calling began to flourish after joining the Roho Msalaba Church, where she first received the title Bride of the Lamb. Despite her spiritual growth, she was eventually dismissed for challenging doctrinal interpretations that lacked biblical clarity.
In late 1992, during a moment of deep meditation in her mother’s kitchen, she experienced a divine revelation. A voice declared that the true gospel to be preached worldwide is Jesus Christ — as revealed through the Books of the Law, Psalms, and Prophets, testifying to His incarnation, death, and resurrection.
Motivated by this revelation, she sought to align with a congregation rooted in this truth and joined PEFA Church with hope. However, upon discerning a disconnect between their teachings and the Christ-centered gospel she had received, she peacefully departed, remaining steadfast in her commitment to preach Jesus alone.
