Yes, celibacy is honored and actively practiced within Bride of the Lamb Ministries International as a sacred calling for those who desire to serve the Lord with undivided devotion. Matthew 19:12 “...and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it.”

The foundation for celibacy in our ministry began in early 2005, when one of the Apostolic aides, Baran Qarim, voluntarily dedicated himself to a life of celibate service. His commitment inspired Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih to publicly invite others who were willing to serve God in purity and without marriage. Several young men responded, giving rise to the Order of Monkhood within the church.

Later that same year, in response to internal challenges surrounding Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih’s marital circumstances, ministry elders and church groups proposed various candidates for marriage to preserve spiritual integrity and public testimony. Despite these proposals, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih declined to marry again, instead issuing a spiritual call: that anyone wishing to walk with her in ministry must embrace a life of celibacy, service, and charity.

This invitation led several women to accept the call, take an oath, and be vested in nun habits—marking the birth of Sisterhood in the church. Since then, the convent has grown, welcoming and training women dedicated to serving Christ in purity and lifelong devotion.

Celibacy within our church is not imposed but embraced as a divine gift—modeled after Christ Himself and rooted in scripture such as Matthew 19:12 and 1 Corinthians 7. It reflects a deep desire to walk intimately with God, to serve freely, and to live as vessels set apart for holy use.

Yes, Bride of the Lamb Ministries International actively conducts mass crusades as part of its evangelistic mission.

The first major public outreach took place in April 2008 in Awendo Town, spearheaded by Zeraya Xanda and Abrican Ogango, marking a significant milestone in the ministry’s growth. This inaugural crusade drew unprecedented crowds, igniting a movement of mega gatherings in stadiums and open fields across the region.

Since then, mass crusades have become a core expression of the ministry’s call to evangelize. Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih has led powerful gatherings in towns such as Bondo, Migori, Ugunja, Homa Bay, Sori, Siaya, Muhuru Bay, Awasi, and many others. Each crusade is marked by intense spiritual impact, healing, deliverance, and a strong witness to the message of righteousness and revival.

To this day, Bride of the Lamb Darlan Rukih continues to draw multitudes of followers in public functions, reaffirming the ministry's commitment to reaching souls and preparing the Bride of Christ with apostolic boldness and compassion.
